Dearborn Engineering Building Addition

Overview

This new facility will be a 46,000 gross square foot building on two floors, plus a basement for mechanical equipment. It will consist of approximately 31,600 net square feet of space to accommodate the Institute for Advanced Vehicle Systems, laboratories, seminar rooms and faculty offices. This new facility will provide undergraduate and graduate students with access to modern facilities in vehicle ergonomics, automotive powertrains and vehicle electronics as well as allow faculty and students to engage in large-scale, sponsored research projects.
